Ultra Lites
The Ultra Lite is the lightest stirrup that I can make and feel comfortable with its safety. I've been making these since '95, and I've had a few shipped back bent after a horse fell on them, but never broken. These are handmade pretty much like my Lites. Really, a Barrel Racer/Trail Rider without the pad.
A rawhide-covered bottom is a popular option.

Oxbow

A cantilevered stirrup that sets you back on your hip pockets and puts you deeper into the saddle. |
